American Dance Montage
The American Dance Montage (ADM) is an eclectic Ballroom Theater Company under the Direction of Frank Regan. Founded in 1992, American Dance Montage performs dances that explore the history and development of Ballroom Dancing. In its first fifteen years American Dance Montage has been celebrated for creating a unique theater experience while performing across the United States, in Central America and in the Far East.
ADM is the resident company of Alliance Dance Institute, where Mr. Regan serves as the Artistic Director. Founded in 2005, The Alliance Dance Institute was created to share the founder’s love of dance with students and professionals alike.
Mr. Regan is a former United States, Canadian and North American professional dancesport champion. He has been honored with numerous prestigious awards over his many years of service to the dance community, including: the NDCA Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award, the “Legends of Dance” award, the “World’s Dancing Hall of Fame” award, the CDTA Lifetime Award, and the Heritage award for outstanding contribution to the world of dancesport. He has a longstanding association with Miami City Ballet, serving as their Period and Stylistic Choreographer.
Dance Beat described Montage’s Some Steps in Time as “clever and entertaining”, worthy of “the standing ovation and curtain calls following the finale.” Dance Beat also described Mr. Regan’s choreography as possessing “a brilliance that is not only historically interesting but contains appreciable subtlety and character.”
Now celebrating its 15th anniversary, American Dance Montage is renowned for performances that are educational, entertaining, and exciting. ADM is available for public and school performances, lectures, demonstrations, and workshops.
